Data processing Policy — Privacy policy

Pursuant to the obligations laid down by L. Decree dated 30th June 2003 no 196 concerning the processing of personal data (so-called Privacy Policy) which came into force on 1st January 2004, we hereby wish to inform the user browsing this site that EUROTROL S.P.A. (hereinafter the Company), based in Settimo Milanese (MI), Via E. Fermi n. 23, will process his/her personal data in compliance with the regulations in force and with the following conditions.

1. Purpose of processing

The purpose of the personal data processing is exclusively aimed at:

preliminary requirements in order to stipulate sale contracts, for their execution and for protecting any credit positions arising therefrom;

fulfilling all obligations envisaged by applicable laws or regulations, in particular as concerns tax matters;

operational, management and accounting reasons;

the access and registration to the Company’s website and the use of the services offered;

monitoring the progress of customer relations and/or the related risks and to improve such relations;

commercial and strategic/operational marketing purposes.

2. Processing methods

In addition to collection, data processing may consist in its recording, storage, modification, communication, cancellation, distribution, etc. and will be carried out both on paper and with the help of computers and electronic equipment, in a manner and with means appropriate to ensure the security and confidentiality of said data, in accordance with the provisions of Articles 31 and subsequent articles of L. Decree no 196/2003, concerning the «minimum security measures for processing personal data».

Furthermore, the methods used guarantee that access to the data should only be allowed to persons appointed by our Company as processors.

3. Data provision

The provision of data is:

compulsory in order to achieve the purposes connected with the obligations imposed by legislation or other binding regulations;

necessary for the proper establishment and continuation of the relationship you have established.

Any refusal to provide the above-mentioned data, although certainly legitimate, could jeopardise the smooth running of the relationship with our Company and, in particular, could make it impossible for us to carry out any orders, as well as to provide the required services and the related invoicing.

4. User’s rights:

In accordance with Article 7 and subsequent articles of Legislative Decree no 196/2003, you have the right, among other things:

a) to obtain confirmation of the existence of personal data concerning the user, even if not yet recorded, and to its communication in intelligible form;

b) to obtain from the Data Controller or Data Processor:

information concerning the source of the personal data, the purposes and methods of processing, the logic applied in case of processing with the help of electronic means;

the identity of the Data Controller and Data Supervisors and of any representative designated by a foreign subject for data processing in Italy;

information concerning the parties or categories of parties to whom the data may be communicated or who may come into its possession as the designated representative for the State territory, processing officers or processors.

c) to obtain:

The updating, rectification or integration of the data concerning the data subject;

The cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or the blocking of unlawfully processed data, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which the data was collected or subsequently processed;

The confirmation that the operations as per letters (i) and (ii) have been notified, including as concerns their contents, to those to whom the data was communicated or disseminated, excepting where this should prove impossible or should involve the use of means manifestly disproportionate to the protected right.

d) the data subject has the right to oppose, in whole or in part:

for legitimate reasons, the processing of his/her personal data, even though pertinent to the purpose of the collection;

the processing of personal data for sending advertising material or for direct selling or for carrying out market research or commercial communications.

The above rights may be exercised either directly or through a representative in the manner envisaged by Articles 8 and 9 of Legislative Decree no 196/2003.

5. Data Controller and Data Processor

Please also be advised that the Data Controller is this Company and that the data will be entered into a special information database after authorisation by the user. However, the Data Processor is the company which technically assists Eurotrol S.p.A. with registered office in Settimo Milanese (MI), Via E. Fermi n. 23.

6. Consent to Processing

Finally, we wish to inform the user that giving his/her consent to processing personal data in the manner and for the purposes outlined above is optional.

In case of refusal of consent, our Company cannot guarantee the services offered.
